Now I know what God eats for dessert!
Oh my goodness. I {heart} ice cream. A lot. And even though I’ve eaten all kinds of premium brands (I’m kind of an ice cream snob), I’ve never had any other ice cream that even compares to Graeter’s.
It’s rich and creamy. Like, after you eat it, your lips feel slightly buttery. That kind of creamy.
The flavors are pure and fresh and pronounced. Vanilla tastes like real vanilla.
The strawberry has small pieces of fresh berries that taste as if they were picked in a plot near the field where the dairy cows graze. They must run with a bucket of strawberries and pail of milk straight to the ice cream makers and start churning.
And the chocolate chunks…. love! They are so smooth, they just melt in your mouth. Divine.
When I got the email from Graeter’s asking if I would like to review their ice cream, I think I did a little dance around the room. Best email ever! They proceeded to send me a box in the mail:
It’s like a mini cooler. Packed inside on dry ice, I found these:
Six flavors of ice cream. Six people in this house. The kids begged to have their own container, but I wanted to try all the flavors. The only one I didn’t get to sample was the mint chocolate chip. It was hard to choose a favorite, but I think we all agree that the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip is best.
Graeter’s Ice Cream is sold in 2500 grocery stores in 23 states, so chances are you can buy some and taste it for yourself. But even if it isn’t sold in a store near you, you can have it shipped! This would make a very decadent gift for an ice cream lover. They will hug you and kiss you and tell you they love you. Buy it for someone who will share.

Definitely would want to try the seasonal flavor – strawberry chip. That sounds too good to be true.
Last week, I had an almond, chocolate, coconut flavor there and it was to die for!!
I liked Graeter’s on Facebook. Love their ice cream. We were going to take the kids last night, but some attidue issues stopped us !! Maybe at some point during their break, we will make it.
The Buckeye Blitz makes me curious, however, any of them would be wonderful!
I would love to try their seasonal Peach. Getting a GOOD Peach ice cream is tough.

Coconut chip!! That sounds so good! I’ve never had this brand but I’ve heard great things about it. I’ve been on an ice cream kick lately because my doctor forbid me to lose any more weight, but I am picky. I don’t care for chemically tasting desserts. Kroger stopped having Turkey Hill on sale and now there’s no ice cream in the house.

ooooh my! i am a total ice cream lover and have been for as long as i can remember. when i was younger, i would come home from school and have a bowl of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and a splash of milk all stirred up ….EVERY day

Being from Cincinnati where Graeter’s is headquartered I’ve been lucky to grow up eating their ice cream! It is the best in the world! My favorite flavor of all time is the black raspberry chocolate chip. A close second is the pineapple sorbet! Oh and did I mention that the peanut butter chip is AMAZING!!!!
