Thank you so much for answering the questions on the survey over the weekend. I’m reading through all the responses and will share the results in a post later this week. It’s fun to get a more complete picture of who all of you are.
Now let’s talk about this week’s menu:
We’ve got 3 slow cooker meals on the menu this week. I’m not sure I’ve got an appliance in my kitchen that earns it’s space as much as my slow cooker. There’s also a recipe you can make on the grill if your weather is balmy. If not, the Lemon Pepper Tilapia can be made in the oven.
There are 6 dinners and 1 dessert. Serving suggestions are included in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.
Here’s what’s on the menu this week:
- Slow Cooker Ham and Vegetable Soup, Cornbread Muffins
- Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches in the Slow Cooker, carrot sticks, Sweet Potato Fries
- Lemon Pepper Tilapia with Veggies on the Grill, salad
- Cheese Ravioli with Pesto, Red Peppers and Grilled Chicken, salad
- Beef and Black Bean Taco Bake, salad, chips and salsa
- Round Steak with Vegetable Gravy in the Slow Cooker, baked potato, favorite veggie
- Nutella and Macadamia Nut Braided Strudel

Sounds like a yummy week at your house. I looked through a few of your recipe links. I am anxious to try the Lemon Pepper Tilapia and grilled veggies. I need to incorporate some new fish recipes into my mix. This one sounds good. Thanks for sharing

I’m so HAPPY I stumbled upon your blog!!! I’ve been looking for some type of menu planner where I can list all my weekly recipes and a shopping list, in one place!!! Perfect! Thank you for sharing yours in a printable version!
Also, I love these recipes, esp the BBQ chicken sandwiches! It never even dawned on me to put frozen chicken breasts in my crockpot!!! I always defrost them first. I wanna smack myself upside the head right now!!!
Wow! I am SO happy I found this site! This weeks menu plan looks fantastic! I just browsed some of the previous weeks menus as well – looks like the best menu plan site I have found! The recipes sound fabulous! Glad I clicked your link at orgjunkie! You are amazing! I am so excited for this weeks menu! You are a lifesaver!
I did your little survey over the weekend.
However, I forgot to mention, when my kids were growing up, I did a monthly menu plan ALL THE TIME. Don’t know how I would have made it through those busy years with 3 kids, winging it from day to day.
