Last month I introduced you to a fantastic resource for dinner conversation and I’m so excited to be able to share it with you again!
Peggy, our Family Ministry Pastor at church, is graciously sharing these cards that she writes. Each month has its own topic. During September, the cards focused on respect. This month the topic is initiative.
The cards are written in a way to involve everyone in the family. Some of the conversation starters are just for fun and some are more thought provoking. They include cards questions like:
- Define “Initiative”
- If you could help someone in your neighborhood, who would it be?
- What was your favorite family vacation and why?
Download and print the cards by clicking here: [download id="62"]
The document is set up to easily make 6 sets of cards, so you can share or just use a set for yourself. Visit xroadschurch.org/family for more resources for families and parents. Here is the link to download the September cards on respect.

I love this. My friends and I host House Parties all of the time and this is a great idea to incorporate for our dinners.
Very interesting…my church is following the same program for our kids. It’s called the “virtue of the month.”
