Does it feel like fall where you live?  Autumn weather has yet to drift in here.  The forecast is calling for temps in the 90s still this week.

We have had a few cool mornings that put me in the mood to break out the sweaters and make some soup.

The menu this week doesn’t have soup on it, but it does have a slow cooker meal and the Apple Pecan Toffee Bars, which taste like fall.

There are two recipes that use cooked chicken.  You can either buy 2 rotisserie chickens or cook up the equivalent amount of chicken.

Here are the recipes for this week:

  1. I’ll take the apple pecan toffee bars!!! It all looks good actually, thanks!

  2. Cucumber & onion salad is one of my favorites! My mom made that all the time growing up and now I serve it all the time. Looks like another great week!

  3. I made something very similar to your Asian noodle stir-fry last night and it was great! Our high today is 96, but my crockpot was looking lonely, so I had to make chili.

  4. The apple bars sound yummy!

  5. Sounds like you have a great week here — I checked out the Italian sandwiches, and those look wonderful :)
