I’m back with a new menu for you, after taking last week off for Labor Day.
This menu has some slow cooker meals, a couple on the grill, some that use the oven. The dessert is Peach Crisp in the Slow Cooker, so you need to either have 2 of these appliances (lucky you!) or plan to fix it on a night when you aren’t making a slow cooker meal.
- Three of the meals include “your favorite veggie” as a side dish. I’ve listed them in the freezer section on the grocery list, but you can buy fresh if you prefer. Some easy veggie side dish ideas are:
- Roasted Broccoli and Red Peppers
- Fresh green beans (check out the comments for all kinds of ways to fix these)
- Grilled Zucchini
- Corn on the Cob in the Microwave
As always, the menu includes 6 dinners and 1 dessert. Serving suggestions are included in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.
- Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy over Rice, veggie
- Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops, Sweet Potato Fries, veggie
- Chili Sauce Chicken Legs, Oven Fried Potatoes, veggie
- Pesto Tomato Pizza, salad
- Mexican Beans and Rice, salad
- Lemon Pepper Tilapia with Veggies on the Grill, rolls
- Peach Crisp in the Slow Cooker
