[...] But, I still think it’s a great idea to have homemade meatballs in the freezer. They taste much better than the store-bought kind and they are better for you too. You can use them for spaghetti, of course. But they’re also good in Sweet and Sour Meatballs over Rice and Meatball Subs.
I made these for lunch today! Yum! The only difference is that I can't bear to use jarred sauce, so I started with tomato puree (to decrease sodium) and flavor with garlic and sliced green peppers, italian seasoning, basil, and a little s&p. Threw the meatballs in and let simmer until heated through and the peppers were tender. Then broiled with the cheese over the top on some Sara Lee White Wheat Hoagies. SO good is the only way to describe it! And so easy! Thanks again!

I made these subs for dinner tonight after seeing them on your website. My family LOVED them! So easy and filling! I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. I had sliced provolone cheese on hand, so that was the cheese I used. Truly delish! Thanks, Tiffany!

I make these in the crockpot all the time too. Frozen meatballs, a jar of spaghetti sauce, set it on low & go to work. When I come home, we make sandwiches, OR, if we have some that want spaghetti (which my husband won't eat) I boil the noodles up & they have spaghetti while the rest have the subs. Everybody's happy!!
