I fixed this recipe for the first time tonight and it was a hit! My 9 year old is going through an annoyingly picky stage when it comes to food. Generally tomatoes and pasta not smothered in a red meat sauce is a no-no. However, she loved this dish. She was excited that there were enough leftovers for her lunch tomorrow! Thanks for helping me be a superstar in the kitchen!

I don't like it either! It reminds me of of the black and white generic labels on groceries when I was a kid.

Sounds like a great combo to me! I don't like that new packaging either. I think they went a little too far on the "less is more" side.

I hate the logo and the name of the "great value" too! I liked the other name better, which escapes me at the moment.....Sam's brand???
Thanks for showing me some cheaper ravioli! Bertolli's is pretty expensive! I made "toasted" ravioli last night from a Rachel Ray recipe. It was yum-o! Dip ravioli in egg, then dredge in Parmesan, parsley, and bread crumbs mixture. Then fry in 3 tbsp of EVOO in a skillet. Use spaghetti sauce as dipping sauce, great for appetizers!

The new packaging at WM reminds me of government food that they give out at food pantries.

Obviously it was done to save money on their part on printing costs. Either that or so a person could easily identify their brand among all the different packaging on the shelves.

Any which way it doesn't bother me too much.

Quick, tasty dish! Look's great!
I too am bothered by the "too generic" looking logo. I'm afraid I'm going to open green beans and get corn.

I HATE the new Walmart packaging! It is very hard to find anything, especially cereals and canned goods. So annoying. It does make their stuff look very cheap and generic.

This recipe looks awesome! I love that jarred pesto sauce. I used it to make crostini for a holiday party. Just spread a little on toasted slices of french bread, then top with a strip of sundried tomato. YUM.

This recipe looks so delicious! I would love to try it!

I absolutely can't stand WM's new packaging. It is especially difficult to find their cereals now. It took me FOREVER to find their raisin bran when they first changed it.

I wonder if they are trying to cut printing costs, and by having the majority of the label in white it might be cheaper. I think it just makes their product look cheap (not in price, but quality), and tons harder to find!
