My New Project – Follow the Apostle John on Twitter

Shares 0

I want to let you all know about my new project and invite you to join in.  @john1Jesusloves is a Twitter project that tells the Apostle John’s adventures with Jesus, 140 characters at a time.  There is also a companion blog with more information about the project, resources, Bible references and my own thoughts on each day’s tweets.

John will start tweeting January 5th and continue through Easter and a couple of days beyond.  The events of the Last Supper, the Crucifixion and Resurrection will be timed with Holy Week and Easter (April 4).

It’s been a wonderful experience writing all the tweets for the project.  The Gospel story has really come to life for me in a new way.  I’m hoping that those who read it will have the same experience.

Even if you don’t use Twitter and don’t want to start, you can still follow John.  Check out the “How to Follow” page on @john1Jesusloves blog for some ideas.

Things will stay the same here at Eat at Home, but I wanted to let you know what else I’m up to.  I hope you’ll join in the journey with John!
