Menu, Grocery List and Recipes – Week 22

If you like printing these menus and grocery lists, check out the new Eat at Home Weekly Meal Plan service.  Subscribers get both the Traditional and All Slow Cooker versions emailed each week.  It’s the easiest way to eat at home!

Can it really be January, 2010?

A whole new decade is here.  Ten years ago, I only had 3 kids (nearly 8, 5 and 1).  This year, my oldest will graduate high school. Oh my, does time ever fly.

Okay, enough reflection.  Let’s talk food.

This week’s menu has lots of slow cooker meals.  The soup and spaghetti sauce can be done on the stove top, if you prefer.  As a bonus, there should be enough spaghetti sauce to freeze for another meal.

As always, there are 6 dinners and 1 dessert.  Serving suggestions are included with the recipes and the ingredients are listed in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.

Here’s the menu for this week:

  1. Wow. Your menu sounds Y-U-M-M-Y!!

  2. I just want to thank you for making it easier for my family to enjoy dinners together. You are doing a great work, and it is blessing my family and I’m sure many other families too. You’re giving me more time to spend with my children, and I can’t thank you enough!

Please keep up the good work. :)

You reflect all you’d like! I enjoy hearing about your life! And besides “it’s your blog and you can cry if you want to” :)

  4. Just wanted you to know I’ve started my weight loss program and your menu is what I’m using for our dinners. I’m actually going to Spark People and putting your recipes in the Recipe Calculator to find the calories. I’m assuming all your recipes make about 6 servings. Hey it works for me. Anyway…I have yet to try a recipe of yours that my family didn’t love! I’m doing week 20’s menu.

Thanks so much for this blog I love it and have shared it with everyone on my facebook! Including my homeschooling support group sistas!

  5. Thank you so much for doing all the work for us! I can check off weekly menu planning from my New Year’s resolution. Seriously, thank you. You should do a cook book, I would buy one in an instant. I have only found 1 weekly cookbook. It’s called “Cooking for the Week” and it has some really good recipes but it’s based on one major meat you prepare on the weekend and use in different ways during the week. Several of the meats are expensive but there are 4 weeks I’ve enjoyed. Martha Stewart also has a weekly menu and grocery list to print, called Grocery Bag, but my family did not enjoy any of the meals.
I love your meals! They are healthy, balanced meals but family friendly. Thanks sooooo much!
