You Can Print Recipes on Eat at Home!

by Tiffany on December 5, 2009

I just discovered something that I had to share with you.  One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how to print recipes.  Until today, I didn’t have a good answer.

I was playing around earlier and noticed a print button under each post!  I would show screen shots of all of this, but I’m having a few tech issues.  So hang with me as I explain without pictures.

If you scroll to the bottom of this (or any) post, you’ll see “Share and Enjoy” with various icons underneath.  There are icons to share posts on twitter, digg, face book etc.  Feel free to use those :-)

The very first of those icons is a print button.  Click that icon and it will take you to a screen with a print-friendly version of the post.  At the top right corner of that new screen there’s a box to check to remove images.  Click that and you have a text only copy of the recipe.  Hit the print button in the top left and you’re in business!

I hope this is helpful.  Sorry that I didn’t realize it was there before.

Have a great weekend!

Well I just hightlight the recipe and right click. Then I can either save or print. If its something I want to keep and make again I paste it into Microsoft OneNote.

Anne, that’s exactly how I save recipes I find online. I love OneNote. My computer lives on the kitchen counter, so I rarely print recipes.

Great! I have already used two of your recipes and they were both a hit! I’ll be looking through for some more ideas for this week’s menu today. :)

How cool! That totally beats copying it into a Word document and then printing… I’ve done that far too many times.

Thanks for sharing!
