Weekly Menu, Grocery List and Recipes – Week 20

by Sacagawea on December 14, 2009

weeklymenusChristmas is coming quickly.  I’ve still got shopping to do, but we made a pretty good dent in it this weekend.

I also did a lot of baking over the weekend too, trying out several types of cookies and some candy.  One cookie was Double Chocolate and Mint Chip.  It uses a bag of limited edition Nestle Dark and Mint Chocolate Chips.  I won’t post the recipe, since it’s on the back of the bag and the chips are only available at Christmas time.  If you find them in your store though, they are worth buying.  Very yummy!

Now for the menu: As always there are 6 dinners and a dessert.  Serving suggestions are listed on the recipes and are in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.  I hope the menu will save you time this week as you prepare for the holidays.

Here’s what’s on the menu:

This is awesome! I have written menus for our meals for several years now and am in a bit of a rut. Your menus sound delicious and easy, I can’t wait to try them. This will be such a blessing to me. Thanks!

I call these One Eyed Sailors. I think I got that from Paula Deen.
