Italian Chicken Melts
  • grilled chicken breasts (I used 4 to make 6 sandwiches)
  • good sandwich buns
  • butter
  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ tsp. basil

  • mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • lettuce and tomato
  1. Slice the grilled chicken thin.

  3. Butter the buns and pop them under the broiler to toast them.
  4. Pull them out and layer the chicken and mozzarella on the buns.
  5. Put it back under the broiler to melt the cheese.
  6. Spread the top bun with the sauce.
  7. Add lettuce and tomato and serve.
