Oh wow!!! Looks delicious! I am doing a few weeks of your "fill the freezer" menus right now, in preparation for a baby coming in about 2 wks and I just found this recipe. I made the virus killing soup and went to Dollar General and bought some really cheap white wine to go in it....bc we don't drink, I used the 1/2c. in the recipe and poured out the rest!! I never even thought to freeze it! What a great idea that I will certainly do next time. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us!

Flower, I think it would freeze well. You would just need to thaw and then you could microwave it to warm it up.

I was wondering if this would freeze well?

There's only me and I have a 3qt crock pot. I don't think I'd finish it all (then again if it's as yummy as it sounds I just might) so I thought I'd ask if it would freeze well.

I can't wait to try this!

Thanks!

I made this for dinner last night. I didn't get it in the slow cooker so I put it in the oven. I think the color was better. My husband said it was a keeper. I had never used hoisen sauce before, but I will be from now on. I liked the flavor. I think this recipe would also be good on ribs or pork tenderloin.
