Weekly Menu, Grocery List, Recipes – Week 11

by Tiffany on October 5, 2009

weeklymenusThis week’s menu includes some of my favorite foods.

Corn Chowder is a wonderful meal for the cooler weather.  I adapted it from a Frugal Gourmet recipe I found many years ago.

I could eat my weight in Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing and not feel an ounce of guilt about doing so, since it is salad.

Nachos, Bowtie Festival, Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies…yum!

A few notes about the menu and grocery list this week:

  • It’s all printable. Each recipe prints on its own page so you can file it in your recipe organizer.
  • The menu includes 6 dinners and 1 dessert.
  • One slow cooker meal is included for a busy day.
  • Serving suggestions are listed on the recipes and those that are in bold are also included on the grocery list in curly brackets {}.

I love these menus. They have been so helpful to me! This week we are using #8 I think (the freezer one). Yesterday we had the stuffed shells which was perfect as I had three extra (unexpected) kids to feed!

And I’m “featured” in this menu!!! :-)

Kristal, you are featured! How does it feel to inspire a cookie? :-)

I made the Black Angus Potatoes last night with ham and used the extra ham in the Corn Chowder tonight. It was perfect since I didn’t add any salt. The ham seasoned the soup wonderfully and I had a good use for my extra ham! I love these weekly shopping lists. It really makes cooking for my 6 kids easy!!

I just recently found your website. I’ve seen other weekly menu plans online before but usually just liked one or two items on the menu.

I have to say I love your choices – yummy recipes!

Thanks for all your work in doing this – it’s much appreciated!
