A snack mix like this doesn’t last long around here. This mix is a little tangier than other chex mixes. That pleased my crew.
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 cups each of corn, wheat and rice Chex (I used 3 cups each of corn and wheat)
2 cups small pretzels
1 cup nuts (I used peanuts)
1 stick butter (I think this could be reduced by a Tbs. or two)
2 tsp. Country Bob’s Season Salt (I couldn’t find that in the store, so substitued Lawry’s)
1/4 cup Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
Combine the cereals, pretzels and nuts in a large bowl. Melt the butter and stir in the seasoned salt and Country Bob’s Sauce. Pour over the cereal and toss to coat. Spread the mixture on a shallow baking pan. Bake at 250 degrees for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
