I went to make this for Christmas and for the life of me could NOT remember where I saw the recipe! So I found another version via Google search and it was really good but then I found YOU again. I like the idea of melting the butter in the bottom of the pan (I used cooking spray). Mine turned out good but I think I’ll make this a second time with your version!

I think you could use a yellow cake mix, but I wonder if it would be too much batter. Maybe use some in the cake and bake up a few cupcakes too? If anybody tries this, let me know!
